What we're looking for
We're looking for CG Artists to join our team on ongoing and future projects. The CG Artist will work closely with the VVOX creative team to create stunning visual content for temporary and permanent experiential media installations. Candidates must be experts in Houdini in combination with one of the color grading software (After Effects, Nuke, or DaVinci Resolve). Unreal Engine, Notch, or any AI workflow skill is a plus. Candidates must have a keen eye for design, motion, look dev, and aesthetics.
Responsibilities
- Production and delivery of parts of projects assigned in respect with schedules and deadlines
- Evaluate and suggest appropriate production techniques;
- Works closely with the Art Director and the Producers to create content production calendars and ensure a project delivery within that timeframe;
- Active participation in the creative process of projects with creatives and other motion designers by proposing concepts and creative storyboards;
- Act as a resource in his/her field of expertise for the team to assist, train, guide and build a product linked with his knowledge and expertise;
- Be on the constant lookout for the latest in technologies and artistic trends;
- Perform any other responsibility and/or task related to the position.
Requirements
- General knowledge of Houdini simulation workflow (particle, rigid body, softbody, fluid, and pyro simulation)
- Proficiency in texturing, lighting, and rendering techniques (Karma render knowledge is a plus)
- 3D modeling (either manual or procedural geometry workflow)
- Rigging and character animation knowledge is a plus
- Strong understanding of physical dynamics and natural phenomena
- Minimum 2 - years of experience in experiential and commercial work is a must.
